Check out my ongoing research blog www.plork.fun.
My research interests focus on play and playfulness as practicable parts of creative life - things we do all the time, but don't necessarily know we're doing. My research offers further and deeper understandings into the effects of encouraging and engaging with our playful selves when play is part of our profession.
I'm currently working on the Wellcome Trust-funded project Medicine Without Doctors, developing a methodology for Playful Research.
You can find my PhD thesis What the plork? Playfulness at work and the work of playfulness in contemporary independent animated film-making here.
